A1 – Beginner
- Objectives: 500-600 basic words, simple greetings and introductions. Can ask and answer basic questions about personal details.
- Outcomes at Cambridge: Master Spanish alphabet and pronunciation, hold basic survival conversations, understand simple signs and notices, clear A1 F.I.D.E.S.C.U mock with confidence
A2 – Elementary
- Objectives: ~1000 words, short dialogues about daily routines, shopping, family, and work.
- Outcomes: Extended everyday conversations, write simple messages and emails, understand common phrases in travel situations, describe experiences in simple terms.
B1 – Lower-Intermediate
- Objectives: ~2000 words, handle most travel situations and familiar workplace conversations.
- Outcomes: Hold 10-15 min conversations on familiar topics, understand main points of clear texts, read short articles and stories, succeed in B1 F.I.D.E.S.C.U mock tests, express opinions and plans.
B2 – Upper-Intermediate
- Objectives: ~3500 words, understand and discuss a wide range of topics with fluency.
- Outcomes: Participate in business meetings, read newspapers and professional documents, write detailed essays and reports, interact with native speakers spontaneously, strong candidate for medium-level corporate roles in Spanish-speaking markets.
C1 – Advanced
- Objectives: ~5000+ words, comprehend complex texts, films, and academic content.
- Outcomes: Work confidently in Spanish-language professional environments, understand implicit meanings and cultural nuances, deliver presentations and write sophisticated documents, suitable for university-level studies in Spanish.
C2 – Proficiency (Mastery)
- Objectives: Near-native fluency; understand virtually everything heard or read, express subtle nuances and idiomatic expressions.
